Fabric bundle of 31 18 inch by 22 inch fat quarters from the Gingham Cottage collection by designer Heather Peterson for Riley Blake Designs. Meadow Lane is the street that my parents lived on, and I've always wanted to do a fabric line with it as my inspiration. When I image what fabrics might live in a house on Meadow Lane, these prints come to mind. I can imagine walking down the lane and seeing a little cottage with a white picket fence. The yard outside the cottage would be full of flowers in bright, fresh colors, surrounded by green grass. Inside the cottage would be gingham curtains on the windows and pretty quilts on the beds and walls. The patterns that I created for this collection are what I envision filling that charming little Gingham Cottage with.
